Cook, teacher, nurse, janitor, chauffeur, entertainer, maid, referee, supporter, and can make anything better with a kiss! :) I'm also a human jungle gym, my fingers are teething rings, my shirt's a permanent burp rag, my lap's a changing pad and my hair is used as a monkey rope! :) Yes, I'm a mom! :)

The Frumpy Mom List

Things to do today:

1. Get up

I don't have a hard time getting up in the morning. I don't even have or need an alarm clock to help me wake up. My brain has a built-in alarm clock. :) I'm up as early as 5:30AM. The latest I wake up is 6:30AM. I say my prayers, pray to God that I'll survive the day (which I usually do, but it's better to ask God for extra strength and patience to get me through the day).

2. Survive

The day starts when I wake up. I prepare breakfast, clean the house, do the laundry, pay bills, run errands...in between those chores, I take care of my kids! I often think one day is not enough for all of them! Sometimes, when things are really tough, I postpone doing some chores and I just do them the next day. My children are the reason I wake up each morning, the reason I breathe...and the reason the house is a mess and it's driving me crazy! :)

3. Go back to bed

This is my favorite! :) The house is clean and my kids are in bed. :) I love seeing my kids sleep, they look so beautiful and innocent, it makes me forget all the craziness they caused me during the day. :) I usually go to bed at 10pm. The latest I sleep is 11:00-11:30PM. I watch TV or read a book until I'm too sleepy to understand what is going on. :) I say my prayers again, thank God for helping me survive the day without blowing my top so much and for keeping my kids healthy and safe. If I do postpone some chores, I also pray that I may be able to do them the next day. :)

There you have it. :) My everyday to-do list! :) Being a mother is not an easy job, but it's the most rewarding. :) I found the hope, determination and inspiration I need to get by through the eyes of my children. I love them more than life itself. :)
